When we purchased our home in July of 2024 we knew we were facing a complete underlayment replacement within a couple of years as our home is coming up on 20 years old. During one of the large downpours recently we discovered a leak coming from the flat portion of the roof. I did a lot of researching of reviews for Tucson Roofers and invited the five company's which I felt stood out. A couple of months ago Golden Roofing was doing a very similar size and complexity of roof directly across the street in our neighborhood and both my wife and I were very impressed by watching them work. It wasn't a shoe-in for Golden, but witnessing their work and work ethic along with their stellar reviews certainly got them in our top five. The day that Gabriel, the business owner arrived right on the time he promised, he inspected the whole roof and found where he believed the leak came from. He provided a very comprehensive professional quote outlying 3 options for the tile underlayment and two options for the flat portion, IE; a repair and a complete replacement. On the tile portion the top two of the three tiers carried a 30 year manufacturers material warranty as they were both synthetic underlayment. In reviewing all our quotes which by the way all five were price competitive, I made a a pretty thorough list of questions and sent it to my top 3 that I narrowed down. Gabriel wrote back addressing all my questions in a very heartfelt & professional manner. I had a couple of additional questions and over the phone or by text Gabriel was very prompt in his replies in every instance. I, being a retired mechanical engineer tend to be quite picky as to detail and quality. It was a difficult decision between the top 3 but Golden Roofing stood out way above all the others when it came to all my criteria and I phoned & awarded Gabriel my project. He made a commitment as to starting work the next day after Tesla removed my 42 solar panels which was in a weeks time. The 5 man crew arrived exactly at 6:30am and the first two days there were 9 crew members up on the roof. After that my crew of 5 were punctual every single morning without missing a beat. I made a point of every morning greeting each of them and at the days end personally thanking them for their work & dedication to taking care of our home. Another thing I almost forgot when I was choosing who to award this huge project too was, Gabriel earlier in his texts told me that he offers a 5% discount for first responders, military & teachers. I asked him if my wife's 36 years as a transitional specialist for incarcerated youth and later retiring as a truancy officer would qualify and he replied "absolutely!" Whew, I feel like this is a chapter for a book, but honestly, Gabriel and his dedicated crew of "actual Golden Roofing employees" deserve to receive a glowing review, they are that good. Last but certainly not least, my Project Manager assigned to us, Abraham Garcia came by every day and laid eyes on the progress & took both still pics and arial drone pics and emailed them to me every day. I wish I could remember each of my crew by name because I want to be sure people reading this review and searching for a Roofing Contractor hears loud & clear that these men in the pic below are all Good Men working for a Great company where the owner and his project manager have a Love for the Right things in Life! Ignacio and his crew were professional, courteous and dependable. They showed up on time and communicated regularly about the job. They are efficient and very responsive to any issues or questions that may arise. I was very impressed with the quality of their work. I recently had a new construction home built, and Golden Roofing AZ did an outstanding job on installing a new tile roof. They were professional from start to finish, worked efficiently without cutting corners, and delivered high-quality workmanship and materials. The entire process was smooth, and they completed the job quickly while maintaining excellent attention to detail and cleaned up remaining roof debris. I’m a real estate agent who had been using another roofing company, who was no longer doing a good job for my clients. I see a lot of roofers, and when my parents bought a home here we decided to try Golden Arizona, and WOW were we impressed. Every day we got drone photos, incredible underlayment they use, picked up every day. Communication with our project manager Ignacio was outstanding! And I’m picky!

I encountered Golden Roofing associates while they worked on my neighbors roof. They had come to my neighborhood after an intense storm and were doing free estimates. After the inspection Raul sent me pictures of my roof and we tried to work with my insurance together to see if we could get it covered. Insurance claimed it was too little damage and wouldn't meet my deductible so we were going to pay out of pocket. He said he would contact his supervisor and get me an estimate. The estimate never came. Weeks went by. Another associate contacted me over the phone and set up an appointment for one of the supervisors to come inspect my roof and provide an estimate. He assured me he would get me an estimate the same day or the following day at the absolute latest. Once again the estimate never came. Beyond the storm damage we had wanted an estimate for our roof to be redone as our roof is getting old and will need to be replaced soon. Initially I had thought maybe the minor damage wasn't worthwhile for them to consider taking the job, BUT after asking for a roof replacement estimate which is a much bigger job you would think they would've been more interested. A month went by and nothing. When it was clear I wasn't going to get anything done with them I moved on. Raul who I worked with initially gave me a call today to check in on the estimate (that I never received), which prompted me leaving this review. Seeemed like a nice enough guy. The other gentleman who I spoke with on the phone to schedule was also pleasant. I'm not sure what's going on within the company that leads to potential clients getting ghosted twice. There are many other positive reviews listed so maybe they're a hit or miss kind of company. Update: Golden Roofing reached out to me after I posted my initial review. Honestly, I was pretty impressed. I posted my review in the evening and bright and early the next morning Francisco shows up at my door to apologize for the lack of communication and see what they can do to make it right. I'll mention, I was not yet a paying customer, just someone who had a mildly disappointing experience. Clearly Golden Roofing values feedback as a company which is commendable. The same day they came out to address the storm damage repairs I had been inquiring about initially and were also able to provide me an estimate on getting our whole roof replaced right away. I'd be be happy to work with Golden Roofing in the future.

Golden Roofing did a fantastic job replacing my roof. There were 2 minor cosmetic issues that were resolved to my satisfaction. Great company! Just choose them!

Golden roofing and their crew did an awesome job. They were quick, knew what they were doing, left my place cleaner than what it was, willing to work with me having to deal with the insurance. They are very reasonable for pricing, and I recommend using Golden roofing. If I ever need roofing done on another home, I will be calling them .
