Ohio Exterminating Company

I don't believe in bad reviews, but I believe in honest reviews, so here it goes: I signed a contract with this company, and the first time they sent a guy out all was great. He was very detailed and did a good job. We had an ant problem and it took two treatments, but it got resolved. Then, after three months, I got a very unfriendly call from a lady who informed me that they would come out to our house on.... time.... We h ad plans, and I dared to let her know about it. The 'meeting' got postponed. The guy came out and ask us what we wanted him to do, which I found odd. Shouldn't he know what to do? Isn't there any paperwork? He did the job, not sure how, though. Then today, two months later, I got another call, which I missed. I called back. A very unfriendly lady informed me that they will be at my house in two days. No questions about my schedule or availability. This time I had enough. I canceled the contract, told her that I didn't appreciate the way this all worked and informed her that I can't just drop everything and for the exterminator. She hung up! I would not recommend working with this company until they teach their people how to answer a phone politely. Also, perhaps they need a reminder that the customer is still the one who should have a say in the WHEN meaning date and time.

Very professional and timely service. Easy scheduling. Since the bees were in the ground and no nest removal was done I felt the price was too high. Service only required water and spraying of chemicals. I paid over 200.00.

Came out early in the morning I never even heard them. They took care of a very very severe yellowjacket infestation in my home. They guaranteed if it wasn’t handled correctly the first time I could call them back indefinitely until it was… However there was no need. One visit And it was all taken care of. And the young lady on the phone who takes your information and set the appointment is extremely friendly. I would highly recommend a service because I’m telling you I had a serious problem they were inside the siding inside the concrete brick And I haven’t seen one yellow jacket since they treated the problem.

We have been a customer for Over 25 years. We have been very satisfied. But the best thing as far as I’m concerned is the technician Don. He knows his stuff. That’s why he’s the only person I expect to be at my place ALL THE TIME.

Ohio exterminating is awesome. Came by around 4:30 in the morning to remove a huge hornets nest in my tree! Always will use them/ not sure if Jim came by this time but I saved Jim’s card after the first time I used them - great company

I recently had signs ( a couple mud tubes ) on one of my basement rafters that some subterranean termites had found their way into my home. I compared a handful of local exterminators and after reading reviews I ultimately chose Ohio Exterminating for a few reasons - they are local , family owned , comparatively priced , and had some great reviews . I was not disappointed . After a few short email correspondences I had a plan, a price and a scheduled exterminator for the following week . The gentleman from Ohio Exterminating arrived at a decent time on the scheduled day . He was very friendly, polite, and obviously knowledgeable about Ohio based termites . He explained to me fully what I was dealing with and what he would do and the price again , to be sure I was in agreement before proceeding . He worked quickly and efficiently when installing the Sentricon Termite system . He took great care of his placement of the "traps" around my home . He installed another box over the spot on the basement rafter where the mud tubes were located . By the time he was finished I felt relief and felt assured that I wouldn’t have to worry about the termites anymore . Overall it was a quick and easy process for me, worth the money spent and am now much better informed as a homeowner . 5 stars . On a side note I must add that thanks to the local auditors office sourced printout of my homes square footage living space that the exterminator used to show me the placement of the traps clued me in that I was being taxed on some aspects of my home wrongfully and I was able to contact the auditors office and have my property taxes lowered . They won't stop coming and spraying at your house when you cancel their service. Then they will bill you and threaten to put a lien on you house for non-payment. What's possibly even worse, their spraying doesn't even work. After I canceled and they kept showing up, I had to hire a new pest control company, Restoration Pest Management, to actually successfully do the job. Please don't use this company. It is a waste of money and they will absolutely refuse to discontinue service.
