Edgar and his crew were simply outstanding! I would give them 10 stars if I could! Not the cheapest, but a very fair price, and really good workmanship and quality of materials! They started and finished on time even though the original 3-day job required an extra unanticipated day of labor and additional materials because of the extremely poor condition of the wood underneath the shingles. They cleaned up after themselves every day before leaving. There was no sign of anyone working on our house except for the remarkable change in the appearance of our roof as the work progressed. At the end of the job, Edgar came back and power-washed our driveway, even though his crew kept their worksite spotless! Their front office was also very easy to deal with---the permitting and payment process were very fast and efficient. Prime American Roofing has an affiliated company called First American Solar which is equally impressive! First American Solar is an authorized installer/dealer of REC solar panels which is widely recognized as among the best, if not the best, solar panel on the market. My wife and I decided to use both Prime American Roofing and First American Solar for our roofing and solar panel installation to avoid any potential problems with different roofing and solar panel companies blaming each other if any problems arise in the future with regard to the solar panels or the roof. If you decide to hire either Prime American Roofing or First American Solar (John Kim was our exceptional, extremely knowledgeable contact on the solar panel side), I am sure you will agree that they are very deserving of their 5-star rating. If I can figure out how to post some of the before and after pictures that Edgar sent me, you will visually see for yourself, why I gave them a 5-star rating.

I contacted Prime America Roofing for a roof installation, as my roof was over 10 years old and had multiple hidden layers of tar we weren’t aware of. Tony and his team did an outstanding job removing the old materials and installing the new roof.
