Ray St. Clair Roofing

Ray St Clair Roofing put a new roof on our house about six years ago. It still looks great and we were thrilled with their work. The other day we noticed that a cap came off the chimney and a soffit needed repair. We called RSC and they quickly scheduled an appointment for the next day. Jack Reeves showed up on time. He was very knowledgeable, nice and performed the repairs. We are impressed with their service and friendliness. We would recommend them for all your roofing needs.

Be sure to get a second opinion before using this company. 15 years ago we got two quotes for our roof (this company and another local company ‘M’) that were $500 different in price and chose this company. They did a great job and we’ve never had any issues from that work. Recently we needed another part of our roof checked out and so again got quotes from this company and company ‘M’. This company quoted us $4K to fully replace the area of roof. Company ‘M’ told us the area was fine…probably 5-10 years more life left in it. So just be sure to get a second opinion before getting work done by this company.

Ray St Clair recently installed a new roof on our house. The roof looks great. We have used them in the past and their workmanship has been excellent. Our home was only 20 years old but we suspected we needed a new roof. We obtained 3 competitive bids and while Ray St. Clair was the most expensive, we felt very comfortable with their workmanship. The new roof was installed in 10 days while the gutter work required more time. There were a few issues that we had to work through but the installation department was diligent and professional and we are very happy and our neighbors were curious since all of our homes were built in 2004.

Sun room roof was leaking. Asked them to look at it advise. Paid $4K to patch/repair but had to call them out 3 other times to fix the problem. They should have told us not to repair a bad roof and to put that $$ money towards a new one. Which we are doing now but not with them. Would not recommend.

We just had our roof replacement completed and can’t be happier. Initial inspection and follow-up quote was very good. They helped in setting up separate contractor for solar panel removal and reinstallation. Field team worked long days in hottest period of summer so far. Workmanship is exceptional, especially the high degree of flashing and bow gutter relining. Workmanship site was always kept clean. Price was more than fair.

Not the highest bid/not the lowest. I had had some experience with Ray St. Clair many years ago. Our damage was from a storm & the insurer agreed to a roof replacement. Outstanding work. Our house has an odd roof - an L-shaped A-frame with a VERY steep pitch. The team arrived and had the old roof off quickly. They worked over the course of 2 days getting the new roof on. Follow up from the "office" was quick - one small issue was taken care of quickly. Later, we decided to take off a chimney & they were back out to remove it & reshingle the area. Almost a year later we had one shingle come down & they were out within a day or so to fix it. Overall a Top Notch 5-star experience all around.
