I want to give ServiceMaster an excellent review, but while I believe they did good work, there were a number of things that make me less than completely satisfied, and I want to be clear about what those are. I recently had ServiceMaster handle both mitigation and repairs for a sewer line backup that flooded the first floor of a rental townhome that I own, forcing my tenants to temporarily relocate while ServiceMaster handled cleanup mitigation, drying, mold mitigation, and finally repairs. Overall, I rate their mitigation services as top-notch, five stars. They responded quickly and professionally to remove drywall and flooring, install dehumidifying systems, and address mold and bacteria. Things got less satisfying the moment ServiceMaster Repair took over. For one thing, these two business arms of ServiceMaster do not appear to communicate with each other, which is very frustrating when I intentionally chose ServiceMaster to handle both mitigation and repairs, because I live across the country and cannot be there to manage multiple contractors. I had questions and would make calls to which I got a lot of "We only handle mitigation, you have to talk to the repair people to get answers." And that's fine, except I'd prefer a little more effort to get me answers instead of just flat out "not my department, not my job, buh-bye." The repair people were quick to flood my messaging in-box with automated messages informing me when they were at my property and then begging for a review, before I ever talked to someone, ever had ANY repairs performed, had NO photos, or ANYTHING. It's annoying being pestered for reviews before work has even been started. The guy in charge of repairs was VERY slow to respond to emails, text messages, and voicemails. Email replies took two days and a second email from me asking him to PLEASE ANSWER MY QUESTIONS IN EMAIL FROM TWO DAYS AGO. And it's a shame, because I *think* they did good work, but I don't know, because they never sent me any "after" photos, so I have no idea what their work looks like, many days after the job has been marked complete. My tenants said the asked the repair guy to cover their furniture, and reported that this was not done, and they had some significant cleaning to do before they could re-occupy the property. When my insurance company is paying out many thousands of dollars for repairs, I expect the repair company to treat my tenants furniture with respect. How much can a cheap plastic sheet cost? Why was that too much to bother with? And it's a shame, because ServiceMaster *probably* did good work, but I have no way of knowing, since they didn't respond to my email asking for photos and never sent me any. Overall, I think ServiceMaster's repair branch of the company could stand a few stern words and brush up on their customer service. The guy in charge should respond in a timely manner to homeowner emails, and absolutely did not, time and time again. I had to pay extra for flooring material, and I think my insurance may have cheaped out on me for that, leaving me with paying the difference. (Not ServiceMaster's fault.) Leaving me overall somewhat dissatisfied with HOW they did their job, even if they did a good job, which I have no way of knowing so far. So. . . three stars.

They promptly arrived at my house, even late at night, and effectively minimized any additional damage to my property. The company and its team displayed utmost professionalism and were incredibly accommodating throughout the entire ordeal. Despite the delays we encountered with the insurance process, ServiceMaster stood by us every step of the way. Thanks to their efforts, my home has been fully restored, and I even had the opportunity to incorporate some upgrades. I'm particularly grateful for the swift turnaround time in completing the rebuild and facilitating my return to my home.

We had extensive water damage and ServiceMasters team came out quickly and worked hand in hand with our insurance company. It was a big job with various risks but they took the job and completed it very thoroughly - without gouging us like many providers in this area will try to do. I would absolutely recommend Mehran and his team to a friend needing water remediation services. Professional, reliable, ethical, and great communicators.

Service Masters Restoration were exceptional in customer support and service. My interactions with Mehran (Ron) and Brandon were always pleasant. We had a blip when a hot water valve was broken. But, they made it right as soon as they were made aware. This is a professional group who do their utmost in a challenging workforce.

I had a crazy water leakage situation which spread from our top floor to kitchen area and made a mess of the entire house. Mehran and his crew took such a good control of this project that we felt like we don't need to be involved at all. From dealing with the insurance company, to covering the entire house (since we're very clean-conscience), to assessing the damage properly and quickly putting us back in a functioning order, it was a masterful job. Indeed, they deserve the name ServiceMasters. We couldn't be happier about the results. Professional service, courteous and awesome crew, and timely response. You can't ask for anything more. Thank you!

The woman who answered the phone was incredibly rude and condescending. I wouldn’t want her representing my company or being the face of this business for new customers. Also, why do you charge $250 inspection when I already have an inspection report and lab results from an inspector who recommended you guys?

I few months back we experienced water damage to my home and it was a mess with both floors, walls and ceilings affected. I contacted ServiceMaster through my insurance. They effectively minimized both the damage and my stress through their professional and friendly dealing. On many occasions they went above and beyond to make sure the restoration of the house stays on schedule when insurance payment was delayed. The company, Mehran, Ramin and the whole team are thorough professionals catering to all my needs on the way through the whole process. Any major damage to house is a stressful event, but these guys did their very best to make it less stressful.
