Olshan Foundation Repair

My overall experience with Olshan was great. It started with the thoroughness of Jamane Williams. He was informative and helpful. Once the work began, I had a great experience with Brice and Dominic. Brice was the main supervisor and he was very communicative letting me know every step of the work being conducted. Both supervisors were very knowledgeable and professional. They made my not so pleasant homeowner experience much better by how they communicated and remained very present throughout the entire job. I'm grateful.

I hired Olshan Foundation Solutions Jackson location for the lifting of my floor at a Dollar General Building in Hattiesburg, MS. I was told by Mike Mansmann and McKenzie Johnson that hey could do a good job. The floor was lifted and in addition to many problems with cracking it is uneven and needs substantial repair to fix it. Two contractors have looked at the floor and say it requires cutting and laying new cement. The floor is unlevel by 1/2 " for 40 ft. which Mike Mansmann says is how it was before and it is no problem. Mike Mansmann says the floor can be fixed with floor leveler. He told me that the floor was properly fixed before I paid the job in full and he sent pictures to Dollar General which were initially approved by Dollar General based upon not disclosing the full pictures of the problem areas. The bachk door was lifted and bet requiring me to hire a door company to fix it. The back door still need cement work where it was lifted for a ramp. After complaining about the poor work for a month Mike Mansmann realized that Olshan damaged the cement near a support pillar it installed requiring replacement of the cement. I paid $56,612 for a job that in my opinion is poor work. I was told after the job by Mike Mansmann that he does not guarantee that the floor will be level. Had he told me tha I never would have hired their company. In my opinion there work is very poor and they tell you it is your liability under their contract. I had the floor lifted through mudjacking 8 years ago with no problem. We are now still trying to work through problems caused from Olshan's work. Olshan has paid approximately $1,500.00 to fill large open cracks, inject more foam under the slab in an area that was lower than the remainder of the slab. There remains to be fixed the back door and a 40 ft. 1/2 inch lift in the floor.

Jamane from Olshan spent four hours at our house doing a careful inspection of the complicated foundation we have and talking with us about our options and pricing for repair. He listened to all of our concerns and meticulously mapped out and measured elevations throughout the house. He clearly cares about his customers and wants them to do what is right for them and their homes. He pulled up videos to help explain the repair process, and I came away understanding it very well. I would recommend Jamane and Olshan Foundation Repair to anyone.

The workers Juan's, Juan, Noel, Rudy, Santos, Genaro, and Mario where very polite and hard working personnel. Could not believe they could get the job done in one day. They work together very well and none stop. Job well done. Thank you.

She efficiently facilitated my consultation and estimate. Estimate Representatives: I had the opportunity to interact with two different estimate representatives at my residence. The initial representative demonstrated exceptional knowledge and professionalism. Subsequently, a second representative Jamane Williams, accompanied by their supervisor, conducted a site visit. They meticulously reviewed the plans and identified a necessary adjustment. This adjustment was thoroughly discussed with me, and the rationale behind it was clearly articulated, leading to my full agreement. Both the employees and representatives involved in this process were exemplary.. The foundation team, led by Willie Hawkins, has consistently demonstrated professionalism and expertise from our initial meeting. Willie's approachable demeanor, coupled with his extensive knowledge, instilled confidence in our decision to select Olshan for our foundation repair needs. His crew also exhibits these commendable qualities, readily providing clear and comprehensive explanations for any inquiries I had regarding the foundation repair process... Conclusion: Would I recommend the company Olshan in the future for home foundation repair? Yes, I would! From the first phone call to the last handshake, I could not have been more satisfied with the professionalism and work ethic of this company. Jamane is very friendly and knowledgeable. He listened to my concerns about rainfall pooling and drainage, as well as being attentive to the foundation cracks in concrete. The end result of this inspection/consultation was great news ! No repairs recommended at this, time other than the gutters already planned. I’m very glad to have this as a baseline on my newly purchased home. I will call Jamane again if ever I have foundation or drainage concerns.
