Juan consistently demonstrated a high level of professionalism and was always attentive to our concerns. He kept us well-informed about the progress of the work and went out of his way to make sure we felt reassured every step of the way. His calm and knowledgeable approach made a stressful situation much easier to manage. We truly appreciate the dedication and care shown by Juan and the entire JR Johnson team. Highly recommend!

J.R. Johnson is nearing the completion of a condominium restoration project, where I have had the privilege of serving as the project liaison for part of the time. This role came about when I was appointed to the board by the HOA, leveraging my 45 years of experience in the construction industry as an accountant. Throughout this project, I have witnessed firsthand the exceptional professionalism and dedication of the JRJ team. The professionals at JRJ that I worked with are extremely knowledgeable. Change orders were explained clearly and always priced fairly. The workmanship was top notch. If there was a problem with any of their workmanship, they were very responsive and rectified the problem quickly. The onsite crew always seemed to be happy and polite. I never heard any grumblings from the community that any of the crew was ever anything but courteous, respectful and willing to help. Their positive attitude and professionalism were evident in their daily interactions. I feel that the onsite crew’s attitude is a direct reflection of the JRJ Management Team of Guillermo Rios, Site Superintendent and Tyler Carter, Project Manager. Mr Rios has the patience of a saint. I witnessed him dealing with unhappy community members and he was patient and did what he could to resolve the situation. His calm demeanor and problem-solving skills were truly impressive. Mr. Carter was easy to work with and took the time to explain anything that wasn’t understood. He is kind, even-tempered, and his goal is always to close out a project with a happy client. His dedication to client satisfaction was evident throughout the project. I never witnessed anyone on site acting in an unsafe fashion. The site was picked up at the end of the day and kept tidy as they were working. This attention to safety and cleanliness was reassuring and demonstrated their commitment to maintaining a professional work environment. If you are looking for a great General Contractor to help with a restoration project, JRJ should be considered. My hats off to them!

They were initially very responsive and helpful in dealing with my HOA and rules regarding a heat pump install. Everything was approved and I’ve been trying to schedule with no success. I’ve been ghosted. I’ve tried emailing and calling multiple times with no luck in anyone scheduling for me. I cannot schedule the heat pump install until JR does their siding prep and I’ve been waiting over a month since this initial process. Very frustrating. He finally got me scheduled and then never showed. When I called to ask where they were, they said that they couldn’t get a hold of the project manager and didn’t know if they were coming. Finally two hours later, I got a hold of someone after both emailing and calling twice and was told several people called out sick. So, you could have called me earlier in the day to communicate that and reschedule or let me know. Someone said they’d call me back in 10-15 min… it’s been an hour, no call. Then they said they’d be here within an hour, didn’t happen. Showed up finally with no plans or any idea what the job was, when JR wrote the plans to begin with. Left for two hours to go to the store, came back and said he’d have to come Back next week. Absolutely unacceptable. Would never recommend or use this company again. An absolute nightmare to deal with. They finally finished the job but the communication was unbelievable. Every time I talked to someone, it seemed like it was their first day on the job and no one had any idea what they were doing. Would never recommend and wouldn’t have used this company if the HOA didn’t require it. I will let my HOA know how awful the experience was and hopefully we can get a better contractor in the future for the community. Then… I asked a couple times how to pay before the project and on the day they came to work. No response and a month later they sent me an invoice and said all they can do it a 3.5% fee electronically or mail a check. Ridiculous in this day.

Michael Weekes was so great to work with on an asbestos abatement for a rental property I manage. Communication and service was top notch. The work was done quickly and efficiently. I highly recommend J R Johnson and Michael for any of your future projects!

I had some water damage and had to have some drywall repaired. The crew from Junior Johnson came out and did an amazing job. They were also able to match the paint color. It looks fantastic. They were very polite and also very professional. They communicated everything that they were going to do and how long it would take. I would definitely highly recommend. Brian G and Daniel G!!!! JR Johnson just completed a large project at our condominium complex and did a wonderful job! The work was both on time and on budget, and their crew (particularly Guillermo Rios) were friendly and cooperative throughout the project.
