Joel at Damage Control Remediation was the best contractor we’ve ever worked with. After getting bids from dozens of contractors on two different leaks in our home, we were recommended Joel through a co-worker, and we were so grateful. He was able to come out immediately and provide an estimate, was always timely, got the job done so quickly, and he was customer focused/took much pride in doing great work. He gave us a bunch of insight into the work, recommended some great contractors to help with our drywall repairs, and was just a great human to be around. One of my favorite parts, was every contractor we hired afterward, they complimented how well Joel set up the remediation containment sites and the floor protection, it saved us $$ on our following bids and streamlined the process to get our home back to the shape it was. I’ll be recommending Joel to anyone I know moving forward, he’s the gold standard!

We discovered water damage and mold in our home after moving our daughter’s bed. I found Damage Control Remediation on Yelp and called them first. Joel came out the same day to survey the damage. He was amazing! He brought in a plumber and an asbestos abatement team that we ended up needing, and made the entire process as painless as emergency home construction at Christmastime could possibly be. He even reached out to check on us the day after Christmas. Every single contractor he brought in was as nice, knowledgeable, and as professional as they could be, and they all worked with us to keep the costs down. Do not hesitate to call Damage Control Remediation! They’re real pros!

After the big freeze in the PNW the other month, we unfortunately had a pipe burst. I reached out Joel and Damage Control Remediation and was very impressed with his responsiveness and getting us on the calendar ASAP. I know we weren't the only ones w/water damage issues and was super grateful that Joel responded to me in a timely manner. Despite his heavy workload, he scheduled an appointment to assess the damage. After the visit, he gave us a quote and was able to start within days of us accepting. Luckily, our project was contained to just a few rooms and Joel was able to clean it up, dry it out and get it where it needed to be in a quick, timely and efficient manner (I think about a week or so). Overall, I was very impressed with Joel's professionalism, great customer service and fair pricing for our damage. Also, he was able to recommend a person to put in new drywall, paint etc to look like new (also very pleased with him). I would highly recommend Joel & team if you are in need of this kind of service!

After I had a pipe burst in my garage from the extremely low temps, I contacted Joel to make sure my garage was dried out properly and avoid any possible mold growth. He was responsive right away and squeezed me in during such a busy time! He recommended an AWESOME plumber to fix the pipes and they were both able to come out and assess the situation. He identified which parts of our wall needed to be dried out and set up the proper fans. Hopefully I won’t need Joel’s services again (knock on wood) but if I do, I’ll definitely be calling him again!

If you are ever in need of damage control services, I highly recommend not going with your insurance companies recommended vendor. Joel came to the rescue and fixed the botched job my insurance companies preferred vendor did; which exposed my family to hazardous materials and half completed job. The hot water heater sprung a leak in our rental home on a Saturday morning. Joel got back to us in less than 30 minutes and was at the house in less than 2 hours sucking up water and putting out fans to dry. Over the next several days they removed the affected floor and the affected drywall to avoid mold issues. They were very responsive and able to work with my renters who have a special needs child. They were generally very communicative and did an excellent job.

We had a leak in our pantry and the plumber we contacted recommended Joel’s company. We really hope we will not have to call him again but if we have to, we will do it without hesitation. Joel is extremely professional and the job was well done. He was also very accommodating around our work hours which we really appreciated. We highly recommend this company.
