Rx2 Remodel

I am writing this review to document my experience with this company and assist others in making an informed decision. As a woman with a toddler, I sought a contractor who would work professionally, responsibly, and with consideration for my household due to unexpected water damage. I signed a contract with this father-and-son business on March 31, 2025. Work was stalled for weeks and only resumed five days before they informed my insurance that the project would be done by May 29, 2025. Communication was poor throughout, except when the owner requested cash payments, including asking me to pay the final installment out of my own pocket and wait for insurance reimbursement. Despite multiple, (in excess of five), walkthroughs and repair attempts, the work remains substandard. I was asked to mark problem areas with blue tape, neither Roy Jr. or Sr. (owner/manager), took the time to personally inspect the work completed by their subcontractors and I was met with unprofessional and dismissive tone each time I voiced my concerns which I found to be unacceptable and unprofessional. Documented issues of the workmanship include carpet lifting in every room of the home, uneven baseboards and caulking, mismatched cabinet colors, nail holes in cabinets, misaligned cabinet handles, obvious paint flaws, misaligned door frames, door trim not meeting the tile, patchwork corrections to hide unsightly work, soft drywall, nail holes in all door trims and paper to fill gaps in closet and restroom. I handed a cashier’s check for the final payment on July 22, 2025 expecting to never do business with this company again however, on August 27, the towel bar in my bathroom unexpectedly detached. Upon attempting to reattach it, it was discovered that the screws had been screwed into a hollow opening of the wall filled with a paper/cardboard material—rather than being properly secured into solid material. This concealed issue would not have been visible had the towel bar not fallen. As of 8/28/2025, the cardboard was removed by the owner, Roy who proceeded to explain "it was a quick fix," and the bar was affixed to satisfaction, however the method used to install it to begin with is unacceptable and raises serious concerns about the integrity of other completed work in my home. While I appreciate this being cared for, I was also asked to remove my review from BBB however, in good conscience, I wanted to document and share my experience in hopes of saving someone else from the same outcome. I would not recommend this company under any circumstances. The quality of work delivered and the way the project was managed fell far below professional standards.

RX2 Restoration did a wonderful job! I experienced a water leak that required extensive work to be done to my kitchen ceiling. The entire RX2 Restoration crew, specifically Valentin, Jairo, Jose, and Olea, were extremely professional, understanding, answered all my questions, and carried out quality work. They have truly made a stressful situation better by their help, reasonable pricing, and timeliness. Thank you so much!!! I would definitely recommend!

It's so traumatic to discover you have water not only on your floors but in your walls. Fortunately RX2 came immediately when called and wirh the leadership of Valentin had a plan (and equipment) in place within the hour, They didn't waste a second and we felt reasssured by their taking charge and getting the drying out process going that evening. Ray and his crew worked well into the night. As the various teams worked in our home they were respectful and eplained each step to us. Once the drying out process was complete (they monitored and adjusted it every day), with Arhon's leadership this next team could begin the restoration. We could hardly believe that such a "mess" could become our home as we knew it. The walls, the bathroom vanities, etc. were back in place and looked bettter than ever. All of the teams who worked here felt like friends. They made the whole experience one of hope and even amazement for us. Every worker who came not only made us feel encouraged but they also became friends with Casey, our blue healer! We definitely recommend them without any doubts. If we ever have a "situation" again, RX2 is who we will call.

These folks were part of the team that repaired a damaged waste pipe that was five feet beneath my living room floor. When I say I was wound up about this project, that's putting it mildly. This team arrived on Day 1, carefully took up the carpet so it could be reinstalled, erected a dustproof enclosure over the work area, then returned to take it all down when the project was finished a few days later. Then their carpet installer came and reinstalled our carpet with new pad. You cannot tell that they were ever here. These guys were on-time. fast, efficient, very careful with our home, and helped keep everything on track. On the one hand I hope I never need them again, on the other, if I find myself needing this kind of restoration work, these will 100% be the guys I call.

I had an excellent experience with RX2 Restoration and Remodeling from start to finish, their team was professional, responsive, and incredibly thorough. They arrived quickly after I called and walked me through the entire restoration process, answering all my questions with patience and clarity. The work was done efficiently and with great attention to detail .My home looks even better than it did before the damage.

I had a good experience with RX2. A sewage backup occurred that flooded the only bathroom in the house, and they came out immediately that day to start the remediation and rebuild work. My situation was very time-sensitive and they made sure to get the project done as soon as possible. They were quick to address any questions or concerns I had. The work they did was very clean and there’s no evidence that the entire bathroom and walls had to be torn out to remediate the sewage flooding. Val, Ray, and Chuy did a great job.

Me and my family had a great experience with Rx2 Restoration and Remodeling. They worked hard and did a great demo after we had a leak in our house. Huge thanks to Chico, Jairo, and Tavo for all their hard work and good energy. I would definitely recommend this company to others.
