Just wanted to leave a quick review for Chicago Appliances Repair. Our tech did an excellent job with the repair of our Samsung refrigerator. This company’s timelines and integrity deserves more stars. I would recommend them to anyone in need of appliance repair and I would call them again for future repairs. Overall, a great company to do business with!!!

Repaired middle burner on a Fisher Paykel stove that wasn’t working. Came out for a free estimate, ordered parts and came back to install all within a week time frame. Highly recommend if you want to get your job done quickly.

We had a control board replaced on our 2006 Frigidaire dryer. They did a quick and efficient job! They've also serviced our washer and dryer in the past and keep them running in great shape.

I called them when the drum on my GE stacked washer stopped spinning. They replaced the speed sensor and the control board. It took a while for the parts to come in, but they did good work.

I contacted this company to repair my washer. Brandon visited on a Thursday and initially quoted $492 for a drain pump replacement, stating it required two people to move the dryer stacked on top. The quote was later adjusted to $466 to include a gasket replacement. I agreed to proceed only if the repair could be completed that same week, as my parents were visiting and flying out Monday. Brandon confirmed it could be done Friday, so I sent a $233 deposit at his request. After receiving payment, he informed me the part was out of stock and rescheduled for Saturday. On Saturday, I stayed home between 1–5 PM as instructed. Despite a message at 3 PM saying they would arrive in 15 minutes, no one showed up. I called, texted, and emailed—no response. Three days later, I reached out again and Brandon answered, unaware the repair hadn’t been completed and having ignored my prior messages. They eventually completed the repair, but did so without moving the dryer—meaning it was not a two-person job as originally claimed. While the repair was ultimately completed, the lack of communication, missed appointments, and misleading information were frustrating. It's important that businesses provide clear timelines and manage expectations honestly, especially when payment is taken upfront.
