I normally don’t leave reviews, but my experience with Longhorn Services was so disappointing that I feel obligated to warn others. My mistake I checked google reviews , should have checked Better Business Bureau they are down in dumps. My walk-in freezer wasn’t holding temperature, so I called Longhorn because their technician had worked on it before. On November 12, the technician diagnosed the issue as a bad fan thermostat and quoted me $1,260 after a discount. I approved it and paid a $600 deposit. They said they’d return on November 14 to install the part. Friday came and went with **no communication**. Later I got a text saying the appointment was moved to Monday. When I called for clarification, I got excuses, promises of a callback, and then complete silence. My calls were ignored. Since my product was at risk, I left a message canceling the job. Suddenly, early the next morning (Nov 15), they called to come out the same day. They installed the part, but the freezer still wasn’t cooling beyond +5°F (it was +3°F before they started). They assured me it would improve, and I paid the remaining balance—**a total of $1,260**. Over the weekend, the temperatures continued bouncing between +5°F and +16°F. Clearly, the diagnosis was wrong and the part was unnecessary. When I contacted them again, the technician came back and told me the unit was "too old" and not repairable. If that was truly the case, **why did they charge me $1,260 and replace a part that didn’t fix anything?** I then called a local refrigeration company. Their technician actually spent time diagnosing the issue and found the real problem: a bad low-pressure switch. After replacing it, the freezer immediately returned to -4°F and has been working perfectly ever since. Based on my experience, Longhorn Services performed **guesswork, not diagnostics**, installed an unnecessary part, showed **poor communication**, ignored my calls, and charged me for work that didn’t fix the problem. I cannot recommend this company. They cost me time, money, and a lot of stress. There are more professional and competent refrigeration companies out there—use one of them instead.

Jason was amazing! Nice guy with immense knowledge about and experience with so many appliances. He wasn’t able to repair our dryer but I believe he did the best he could given how old our appliances are. We were pleased to have him service our dishwasher and he was in and out in 30 minutes! And we only knew our dishwasher was leaking due to the awesome tip he gave us. Well done again!

Jason from Longhorn Services was excellent. He quickly diagnosed the issue we were having with our commercial ice machine. I wished we had called Longhorn first as we had another company come out tell us it was something else and left with the machine still not working. We paid a pretty penny for that misdiagnosis. Jason was very knowledgeable professional and communicated well. The machine is now fixed and working like a charm.

Thank you for assisting us. We were getting tired of hauling ice around especially when one could locate it. Some stores were out. The frig is working good as new.
