Still don’t have my controller after numerous calls. What kind of business are you running here. Find a new industry this one isn’t working out for you. It’s been six months still no controller! Just send my controller I’ll go elsewhere Alphatheta please take this company off your list of trusted repair companies. I don’t trust anything they say. A small little $250 controller with a short takes over 6 months to repair like come on now.

My Mark Levinson amplifier model 23.5 was popping on the left channel the noise came every now and then, it kept getting worse and more frequent as time went by, after many years of use it was time to rebuild and repair. Technetron took good care of my amplifier they replaced capacitors, resistors, and transistors the problem was fixed no more popping noise. According to Mike at Technetron I should get 14-15 years of joy with my serviced Levinson amp before I would need another service. I highly recommend these guys, I will be returning to them for all my high end equipment repair.

I was told that they don’t servixe anything but I found them online and it says they repair amplifiers and loud speakers but the guy I spoke to said they don’t

I live in San Francisco and my $7K AV Receiver broke. I spent 6 weeks contacting various high-end repair shops, which rarely answered calls and took weeks to respond to emails. Then I found Technetron shop in New York, read the reviews and decided to call. I was speechless when he answered my first dial. In 5 min I was given all the information I was interested in, felt like this guy knew his electronics and for the first time felt confident to send my receiver all the way to New York – best decision ever! Long story short, in exactly 4 weeks (2 weeks just in transit back and forth) I was opening the shipping box with my receiver!!!! It works like new and I am just so happy! Need to mention, I’m a little bit overdramatic when it comes to my electronics, so I did call Leo every other day, sometimes twice a day with questions and he always answered and never gave me attitude or was short with me. Technetron shop and Leo in particular are THE BEST and I’m so happy I now have the place to go with my electronics.

I went here after QSC recommended them as their premiere servicer. Leo is very kind and he helped get us up and running within a weeks time. Most other service partners either have long wait times or are very shady in the prices they charge. Upon testing all the equipment it works good as new, even has a several month warranty. Thank you for taking care of us Leo, we will come back if we ever have any other issues.

Edit: Technetron rectified the situation and informed me about the massive delays with NAD and several other manufacturers. I tried to get in touch with NAD myself and found them to be entirely useless. Technetron helped provide me with a brand new unit so I am satisfied with the outcome despite the delays out of their control. Original: I dropped off my NAD integrated amp here for repair 6 months ago. I've been calling them biweekly for updates and they always tell me that the issue is with NAD parts being on backorder (which might be valid). They say that they will reach out to NAD and the original retailer and ask them to get me a replacement unit in the mean time. The problem is, they never actually seem to do that and never follow up with me. I've been told probably about 10 times that they'll call me back in a couple days and that hasn't happened once. I'm starting to lose my patience as they hold my very expensive unit hostage and it doesn't seem like they are making any progress. I called them again today, they promised a call back at 5:30 because their computers were down, and alas, no call back.

I had a positive experience here. My Denon tuner/amplifier stopped functioning. It was under warranty, so I brought it to Technetron, as they are an authorized service provider for Denon. I called ahead of time, and they were very upfront about how supply chain problems and their backlog are causing repairs to take longer than expected. I appreciated their candor. I decided to leave my device with them. It did take a while, but it was not their fault: Denon took forever to ship the part(s) they needed. But now my tuner/amplifier is working perfectly, and it didn't cost me a dime. My only complaint was that they did not call me when the device was ready -- I ended up calling and checking in, to find the repair had been completed. They apologized for not having called me and expressed concern that the system they had in place for alerting them to finished jobs may not be working... I felt they were honest and professional, and did very good work.
