We just completed a substantial remodel in our home, including enlarging our kitchen, an addition of a master bathroom and closet and adding a screened in patio in our backyard. We are extremely pleased with Wydel Simmons, his work was excellent, he and his team were professional and friendly. Wydel went the extra mile to ensure we were happy with the project. His bid was very fair and he communicated with us every step of the way. In addition, Wydel is just a nice guy and easy to work with.

This company is a gem to work with. They are responsive, efficient, knowledgeable, and Mr.Simmons shows a true passion for his trade. I had the pleasure of working directly with Wydel, the owner, and he explained the entire process of the inspection. He even gave me a run down on the processes, governing bodies behind it, and the insurance implications of certain items. I have to admit... I had no idea what he was talking about with the finer details, but it shows that he's truly immersed in what he does. I think with his knowledge, integrity, and experience in the construction industry will take his company to the next level. Use this company, you wont regret it.

Mr Simmons was very courteous, prompt and professional. He honestly exceeded every expectation I had. As a first time home buyer, I am sure that I needed a fair bit of unnecessary hand holding. Mr. Simmons communicated clearly and effectively. His service was reasonably priced compared to the others I shopped. 10/10 would recommend. Interestingly enough, I had another inspection from a previous buyer who failed to get funding. Mr. Simmons found numerous issues that the other inspection failed to note. My initial review would have been 5 stars for what I thought was a very thorough inspection of my prospective new home, however after I paid an additional fee to have a re-inspection (after the seller did some improvements) I was left with unanswered phone calls, emails, and texts. Initially I was blown away by Wydel's response time, knowledge and customer service, I was ready to refer him to all my friends who are currently in the home buying process. It was night and day difference from the initial inspection to the re-inspection. After the seller did the necessary repairs and I paid for a re-inspection, Wydel told me he went by the house and then he told me he would go by and look again, and again over the coarse of 5 days (an eternity in the closing process). He didn't look at the specific items the seller agreed to fix, items I had listed out for him in an email and a text. I contacted Wydel numerous times via text, phone call and email and after a week of asking him to please go check the listed items I stopped hearing from Wydel altogether. I was emailed the 4 point inspection for my insurance and told that I was buying in a bad neighborhood, I do appreciate the 4 point but the crime report of my neighborhood is not what I hired his services for. It would have been nice to have gotten what I paid for (a full re-inspection, not just the 4 point and a crime report), but hopefully I can just tell others that if you are looking for an initial inspection, he might be alright (just double check what he tells you, I've found some inconsistencies), and if you pay for anything above and beyond - forget it.

I recently used Wydell for the inspection of a home I was purchasing and found him prompt, polite and a perfectionionist in his work. Everything was explained to me and my questions answered. His friendly attitude and patience made the process pleasant and I would use him again if I ever purchase a different home.
