Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup

Both Barnaby and Javier were great. The initial service tech Javier showed up right on time which was just 2hrs after my initial call. His work was thorough and informative and our issue was resolved quickly. The supervisor Barnaby then followed up within the hour to help schedule a follow up appointment to drop a camera into our sewer line and diagnose the problem. He showed up on time, walked me through what he was seeing on the video, and explained the options for a long term fix to our problem. He was nice, professional, and went the extra mile to clean up some of the sewage that had spilled out of our cleanout from the initial problem. I would happily recommend them to anyone having plumbing issues.

Roots in our mainline from the house to the street caused a backup at the clean out spot in our front yard. Big mess. Gabriel cleared it and cleaned it all up within a half hour, and also arranged for a camera look at the pipe tonight as well. RR always delivers. Barney came by a little later that night to drop in a camera. While he was examining the pipe to the street he looked up the owner obligations for my city and explained my options. He is so positive and nice to work with. Looking forward to receiving the quotes for my options. Thx!

I called Roto-Rooter in San Jose after another company failed to clear a sewer drain and tried to upsell me on a $6,000 excavation. The Roto-Rooter technician arrived promptly, explained everything clearly, and had the line completely cleared in under 15 minutes for $565 — exactly as quoted. They were honest, efficient, and professional from start to finish. The technician even showed me where the blockage had been and confirmed the flow before leaving. After wasting time and money elsewhere, I truly appreciated how straightforward Roto-Rooter was. Highly recommend them for anyone dealing with a tough drain or sewer backup.

Reuben had done an Excellent and Professional service at one of the apartment units I owned. He arrived punctual and gave a very straight forward explanation of what needs to be done. He was able to unplug the kitchen sink drain and replace a whole new kitchen sink faucet all within an hour. Highly recommended to anyone who is looking for a reliable, courteous plumber!

Damien is an experienced and super knowledgeable technician. He came by after another technician left the job unfinished and gave up. Damien, with his super calm and deep approach to the problem diagnosed the problem accurately, left notes for the plumber to finish the job in the next visit, and also helped educate the previous inexperienced technician of why the drain snake alone could not finish the job. 5 stars to Damien! The next job was finished by Pablo, who was equally experienced and knew his job well. In total, Pablo spent about 5 hrs on site, and finished every aspect of the job to the last detail. Including cleaning of any spills. Pablo was an amazingly composed and professional human being, who knew his job to perfection. The drain pipe was cleaned in the location where the clog was, which was in itself a complicated job to figure out. 5 stars to Pablo! Recommend Damien and Pablo 100% positively for a drain technician's and a plumber's job!

Sort of a scam, clicked "$55 off on any service" guy shows up, says "it’ll be $135" I’m like sure, then he comes back "hey man actually it’s $418, but since I told you something else earlier I’ll give you 50% off so it’s only $209" and I’m like bro. Fine. Then he does the job and at no point on my receipt or when he drew up the invoice did it mention the $55 off at all. Prices completely made up and an in person hustle. The plumbing part was fine, but make no mistake they are also salespeople. The entire time he was also trying to upsell me "the house is old huh? Probably means there’s rust in the pipes and we gotta gut this entire thing and replace it all this might not work what I do here" "How much is that" "$1300" Dude.
