Technician: Jon Everett Jon was prompt; and very courteous. He took the time to explain what was going on; and remedies to fix the situation. After reviewing estimated costs, Jon provided a very favorable price for the job. Original price ($675.00) was a little too expensive for a 74 yr old semi-retired individual. New pricing was a big help! Jon explained every step of the job as he went along; and also recommended a course for preventive maintenance on the drains. Overall, a very good experience; and I would Definitely recommend Jon and Roto Rooter to anyone else needing this type of service. On a scale of 1 to 5 Stars; Jon gets 10 stars! Thank you, Felton Clayton

Unfortunately this was a problem that NO ONE wants to face - what we thought was a simple fix turned into a "first monumental disaster " however , we were totally impressed with Roto Rooters head project rep and team . Johnattan Beamonte was an amazing communicator; very knowledgeable and supportive for this " one day " project . He explained in detail all that was involved and checked in on us and the team during and even after completion. Though it cost a mini fortune we are now relieved that we will no longer worry about a potential flood in the basement. I highly recommend RR. Thank you again ! Happy 4th

Chad came to my house late at night when I was dealing with a major drain issue, and I couldn’t be more impressed. He quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem with my main drain, and the whole process was smooth and efficient. Beyond his skill, Chad was super friendly, professional, and respectful the entire time. It’s not easy to find someone who can deliver great service with such a positive attitude, especially at that hour. I truly appreciate his hard work and highly recommend Chad and Roto-Rooter to anyone in need!

They are nice and very quick to respond to calls. However, they are not very good at fixing the root cause of a problem. We called to identify a leak in our bathroom. Roto-Rooter said it was the toilet, and it needed to be replaced. I called a few days later because despite the plumber turning off the water and emptying the water from the toilet, there continued to be some moisture. So, I asked him to check behind the wall once the toilet arrived for replacement. We paid $753 to replace the toilet because I ordered the parts. Six weeks after being replaced our management company called us to tell us that our unit was causing a leak in the common area. Roto-Rooter returned and they then determined that it was not the toilet but the flange. Despite the 60-day guarantee, we had to pay an additional $1200 to replace the flange. Now, because of this unresolved leak, we need to replace our floor, baseboards and sheetrock. Just disappointing.

Amazing! We had tried a local plumber who gave up before we got your info. Mike (Small Mike) was professional, caring, and great personality. Assured us no problem and sure enough our kitchen sink is back in business. We highly recommend your business.

Never received an itemized bill. Told homeowners insurance would cover all restoration work. They didn't. The team destroyed my basement--removing stuff that had not been touched by sewage. Left me to dispose of sewage covered property in my backyard. Total bill was over $14,000, then reduced to $10,000+ when insurance wouldn't pay a penny. No itemized bill. They are quick to say "contact us with your details" when you leave a negative review. Never, ever use Roto-Rooter.

I had a terrible experience with Roto Rooter Plumbing, and I feel people should be warned. I reached out to them because they came up first in my Google search and had decent reviews. Over the phone, I was told they charge a $99 visiting fee, and that they’d provide a quote after diagnosing the issue. That seemed reasonable, so I scheduled a service call. When the technician arrived, he barely did anything. He glanced at the leak, made a quick comment, and that was it — no tools, no testing, no thorough inspection. Just looked at it and said what was wrong. Then came the shock: I was charged $457. I asked why, since I was told it would be $99 for the visit and a quote. He told me, "$99 is just the visiting fee. Since I found the problem, you’re being charged $457." That’s outrageous. I was charged almost $500 just to be told what the leak was — no repair, no real effort, no breakdown of costs. This felt more like a scam than a professional service. There was no transparency, no clear explanation up front, and no justification for such a high charge for a two-minute "diagnosis." I expected honesty and fair pricing — not a bait-and-switch tactic. I will absolutely not be using Roto Rooter again and strongly suggest others look elsewhere for plumbing services. Don’t be fooled by the reviews — this experience was a complete rip-off.
