Carolina Foundation & Insulation

Recently had our crawlspace fully encapsulated. We are extremely happy that we chose to go with these guys, they came highly recommended from Blanton. Recommend for any encapsulation or insulation needs.

The crew at Carolina foundations were very professional, very quick, clean, and affordable. They are absolutely subject matter in their field. It was great working with them as they educated me and with the services they provided.

Save yourself the wasted phone calls and days of waiting around. We originally scheduled an attic re-insulation for July 30th at 10am. By 11am, no one had shown up—no call, no update, no explanation. After we made multiple calls, we were told the technician might come between 1–4pm or after 5pm. Despite waiting the entire day, no one ever arrived and still no communication. The next morning, we received a random text that a tech was "on the way." We had already explained how difficult it was for us to arrange time off work, but this was completely disregarded, and of course no one was home to meet them. When we spoke with Anthony (our main point of contact), he explained that the rainy season had caused scheduling complications. While we were extremely frustrated with the lack of communication and an entire wasted day, we remained understanding and agreed to reschedule. Anthony assured us there would be weekend availability, as well as a possible Wednesday appointment if weather delayed things. It has now been three weeks. Every promised weekend and Wednesday has come and gone without a single call, message, or explanation as to why no one showed up. This entire process has been disorganized, inconsiderate, and a complete waste of our time. The lack of communication and accountability is simply unprofessional.

*Edited review* 11/06 Upon seeing my review, Anthony contacted us right away to remedy the situation. He personally came by to discuss the problems and make sure a team came by to fix everything. We didn’t have to pay the other company to fix it. We had work done to our duct system 2 years ago by this company and after having another company come out this past week due to HVAC issues- we have now been told that the work wasn’t completely finished in the crawl space nor did they use the right size material for our system. I am giving a star only because Anthony was very nice. It is so frustrating to know that we paid more than $8,000 to have our duct system redone only for it to be an unfinished job and not done properly. We must now pay to have another company correct the errors.

All of the work from Carolina foundation and Insulation was done promptly, expertly and solved the problems. I highly recommend them!

Update. Contacted Mr. Anthony on a Saturday, Their inspection time was fast, and I received my estimate immediately. The quote was honest, and the price was great. They repaired and re leveled our subfloor, fully encapsulated our crawl space to take care of the moisture problems, also did our blown in insulation. We are extremely happy with all the work done. Everything went smoothly and kept us informed the entire time. Recommended this company any day of the year. Thank you so much!

I was desperate and needed my floors redone in my house. I did not know who to call and a friend recommended this company. I called and they sent 2 guys out for an estimate. They gave me a price I was happy with and yes I hired them. They came out and worked very diligently until the job was done. I was so pleased with the work the 2 guys did. I hired them to do the rest of my house. When they finished, I was so pleased, I don't want to leave home. Thanks so much for such awesome work.
