Flood and Fire Restoration by Collier

I had a roof claim with insurance, but it included some interior damage from the storm. After issues with my insurance company, Collier was able to help out in getting it sorted with them. The work was smooth and seamless. We appreciate Javier and Anthony and their hard work. They were respectful and efficient. I work with many restoration companies in my industry and this was a top notch experience. If I get my choice in restoration companies in the future I will plan on using their services and highly recommend them.

Lucas & his crew were great to deal with. We had some minor flooding in the LL the required the removal of some baseboard, drywall & insulation. Lucas was on-site the next day at 8am to assess the damage & to start the process w/ the insurance company & his crew were there that afternoon to start the project. This water problem occurred the night before we were leaving for a family wedding in Italy, all my conversations w/ Lucas were over the phone. We received a high recommendation from our builder, so we felt comfortable w/ Lucas & his crew working in the house while we were gone. They did a very nice job from start to finish. I would definitely recommend Collier Builds.

Communication with this contractor was always timely and easy, especially when it is usually so difficult to get a contractor to even return a call. Collier Builds were quick to respond and if they didn't answer the phone, they got back to us right away. The workers were clean and never left a mess, even when it took a couple days to repair and allow for mud to dry, they kept the repair area small and clean and did an excellent job of making the repair. You'd never even know there was a problem. Looks like brand new. I would highly recommend!!!

Amazing! We were concerned about mold in our basement and so we called Collier! The best experience ever! They checked everything and listened to our concerns. They were very nice and super thorough! I 100% recommend and I will forever use them!

Collier repair was a wonderful company to work with. They came and assessed the damage within 24 hours. An estimate was sent by the end of the business day. Repairs were made in a timely manner and each repair man that came was friendly and kept us informed. Some even went above and beyond what was needed! The workmanship was excellent. When the invoice came for payment it was the same as the estimate without surprise charges. It is so nice to have an honest and fair company that takes pride In their work. If you are looking for a restoration company, look no further.

We called Collier because we had a faulty water heater flood the dinning room, into the kitchen storage room and bathroom. They showed up in less the an hour!!! They explained what to expect over the next few days with the type of flooring we have and important things to watch for, they set up a dehumidifier because they mentioned the amount of humidity which we didn't notice. These guys are legit the best !!!

2 years ago, we had our toilet overflow in our bathroom upstairs that caused water damage in our bathroom as well as other rooms in our house. We had a water mitigation company come out to help get our affected areas dry. That same company referred us to Lucas Collier. It was Collier Builds that did our repairs as well as a few upgrades for us. However, we had several problems with Luke's crew and we found numerous mistakes throughout the repair and remodel. My wife and I are not handymen by any means, but with the quality of work as low as it was, we ultimately felt that we could have done several things like texturing and painting a wall better ourselves. Luke had also quoted us 4 weeks to get the entirety of the job done and it ended up taking close to 4 months from April 2022 to July 2022. The biggest mistake that we found was our shower remodel. We had a tub pulled out and it was turned into a walk-in shower. We had to have Luke’s crew redo the shower floor 3 different times because water kept pooling and not draining properly. We had just gone through a water mitigation and restoration experience and the last thing we wanted was to have more water damage happen and to ultimately have to do this again. Luke eventually had a tile company come out and redo our shower floor for us because his own crew couldn’t get it right. I wish I could say Luke made it mostly right in the end. Until recently we thought he did. About a month ago, I was taking a shower. My wife was downstairs in our living room and heard water dripping. Upon further investigation we found it was water coming down from areas around the window in our shower down to the window and ceiling drop down on the floor below where the shower is located. My brother in law took a look at our shower for us as he used to work for a water restoration company. He was able to identify at least two areas of where water was going. First the seals in our bathroom window were not sealed correctly. The other was the tile not being sealed/finished properly around the window either. While they never removed the window in the remodel process, it would appear that the window was never properly finished as things were being put back together by Luke’s crew. As we are getting other estimates from other contractors to help us with our current repairs, they found areas where the tile was not finished correctly and areas where there was no true finish on the tile. I think the most disturbing observation these contractors made is that it appears the wrong type of drywall was used under the tile, which I have been told is a major no-no for obvious reasons. As far as Lucas himself goes, while he always treated us kindly, we never saw him unless we complained or if there was money to collect. The bottom line is had this job actually been done right, we wouldn’t be doing this again let alone doing this again just two years later. Not only would I never hire Collier Builds again, I can’t in good faith recommend them to anyone else. And if I could give negative stars, I would.
