Jacob and his team were just awesome. Not rude. They answered all my questions. This is very traumatic but they talked me through everything. Sad to lose so many things that I had since I was a teenager. But they always showed me why & where the damage was. I am very pleased with the job they had to tackle.

City of omaha sewer backed up a couple houses on our block. The city hired servpro to do the tear out. I really like these guys. They were very professional, mindful. Fast and efficient. They moved what they could. Covered our stuff well so it doesn't get covered in crap. Sealed off the basement to prevent dust from going throughout the house. Exactly what I would imagine a set of professionals should always do. I wish with all my heart my landlord hired these guys to do the repair work as well. Instead of some unskilled.... undocumented workers like I'm dealing with now that are doing none of these things listed above. Thanks servpro for doing it right. I wish they were all like you guys.

I had an excellent experience with Jeff from Servpro! From the very first call, he was professional and knowledgeable. Servpro walked me through the entire process, answered all my questions, and made sure every detail was handled quickly and efficiently. The communication was great, and the work was done thoroughly and with care. I’m so grateful for Jeff and his team’s help, and would highly recommend Servpro to anyone who needs restoration services!

There was several things wrong with my experience with SERV PRO of Omaha Southwest. This team was dispatched to handle services in Iowa in July after severe torrential storms. The local team was swamped and couldn’t do it. So this team came. 1) This team was here to make money, period. They were from a different state and employees were likely paid overtime, needing lodging, etc. Due to supply and demand, I assume the service cost was significantly higher than if it were a local team. At the end of the day, not much work was done to justify this cost. I get companies want to make money. ***But this company behaved as if it was taking advantage of homes who just experienced disaster. *** 2) The communication throughout the service was awful. The team wanted in and out. Comments like "we don’t know what your insurance will cover," "it will be sent to insurance, we don’t know;" all to convey that they have no role in what actually happens. There was a lot of "we don’t know," but Lathe and his team could have been better at giving a rundown of how things typically occur. Giving a schedule would have helped greatly. Upon contacting SERV-PRO of my area, it was communicated that there would be a restoration component. In my conversation with Lathe (upon paying down payment), I still believed there was a restoration component. I did not know that they weren’t going to restore ANYTHING until the day they were finally done. This wasn’t communicated. Families are stressed when their house is flooded, and this team wanted in and out. Taking more time to explain things would have been extremely helpful. ***3) My main issue is that Lathe communicated that if my family cleaned up the basement beforehand, the cost of the bill (and labor) would go down. The overall estimate could be lowered if we cleaned. We spent several hours cleaning up down there, and moved many things out of the way. The final bill was not changed in any way to reflect this. So, we just helped this team for no reason. 4) The front desk acted annoyed where I wondered where the bill was. "I would ask your insurance," was said again. When I finally got the bill a month later, it written as overdue days earlier.

We have a very small house that had water damage from a hot water heater failing. It happened July 6th, 2025 two months ago. Since then, we have been assigned 3 different project managers. We have had several disappointments along the way. First of all, the track on our sliding glass door was damaged when they moved the big humidifier and fans in and out. We can't shut our screen door. The first project manager was told about it but obviously, nothing was done about replacing it because the third project manager knew nothing about it and she finally contacted the company and ordered a new track. It may take months to get that new track. Next, We were told professional piano movers would move our piano. The 2 guys that showed up didn't have any equipment to move the piano or any other heavy furniture. They struggled to get it moved and I was very worried that they were going to break the legs because they didn't seem to be concerned about them. They couldn't move the fireplace so I retrieved some furniture sliders out of the pantry for them to use. When they left, I went to the basement to check things out and the door was left wide open and they left their 2 wheeled cart in the middle of our patio. Definitely not professionals. Another disappointment was when I called Kelly's Carpet to see what time the installers would show up, the receptionist said we weren't even on the list. The order from the installer hadn't been turned in. I have a text that says the pod with my furniture would be delivered today and unpacked tomorrow, Friday, Sept. 5th. When I called to find out what time the pod would arrive, I was told it hadn't been ordered to be delivered today and the movers weren't even lined up for tomorrow. I was told maybe Monday or Tuesday for the unpacking. Unfortunately, that made my blood pressure go sky high especially since I was told by 2 different people that the furniture would be unpacked today. (one being the project manager) Needless to say, this has not been a very good experience for us. On a positive note, the carpenters/painters did a great job and when the carpet finally got installed, the installers were very professional and did a great job. They even vacuumed all the carpeting before they left. I think God must be testing my patience. Stressed out, LindaJames Plattsmouth, NE 68048
